About Paphos

Paphos (Pafos)  is situated on the West coast of the Mediterreanean island of Cyprus and enjoys the best climate on the island, being the warmest in the Winter and the coolest in the Summer. The five star Coral Beach Hotel & Resort is located in Paphos, Coral Bay. The whole town of Paphos is part of the UNESCO Heritage list.

Paphos was the Roman capital of the island, thus most of the history of Cyprus is located in Paphos and the surrounding region.  There are mosaics, museums, archielogical sites in abundance, the majority a few minutes drive away from the Coral Beach Hotel & Resort.  There are over nineteen monastaries on the island some of Latin background, some of Greek Orthodox and each monastery makes its own wine.

Paphos is also a wine producing area with many award wining wines.  The closest winery is a mere 12 minute drive away from the Coral Beach Hotel & Resort.

The Paphos area is one of the most beautiful parts of the island with its sweeping coast line and green hills.  It is also officially a golfing destination with three 18 hole champion golf courses.
